+ When our eyes met . Part I + by ~aoi-san:iconaoi-san:

The entwining of two by the gentle embrace of fate herself...

I

The building was built in the 1880s for the first Topias Hawksworth. It was hard to describe the beauty of the building, no colourful vocabulary could justify it. It stood on a artificially flattened hilltop among the wide and long display of Hawksworth woods. Getting to the actual building was a complete challenge, driving up the rigid lands and then a half-a-mile walk just up to the drive, surrounded by gazing dears.
The stone walls and roof were the colour of French mustard, two storeys high, an arcaded gallery and infinite rooms to meet any families standards. It was a truly magnificent place with a background thick with history. By being surrounded by woods and quite a distance away from any main road, it soon became the perfect place for those rich and famous to avoid the stare of a camera while partying.
After the late 1970s the last remaining heir of the Hawksworth family was a woman, who married and later had one child.
Tonight, the building was alive with a party, inviting many variety of people who all shared one thing in common:- their riches.
Inside a few minor rooms some of the mature and quieter ones escaped from the main dinning room. Sitting down in the rooms, which were extremely interesting. Here there was a high Victorian wealth of everything, pictures, tapestries, ceramics and furniture. The furniture was mostly French and of a astonishing quality. Most straggled to gaze at it, while others, lost lambs of the dinning room didn’t spare it a glance. Things like this severely annoyed the son of the house, the way people couldn’t marvel the history of the items because they were too blinded by their own self-conscious.
The young heir was blond, a confused battle of mixes of dirty blond and pure. His eyes were usually dull and dark, lack of life flowing within him, with a deep blue and with a few specks of pure seashore blue when the light was just right. His skin was a creamy shade, rarely kissed by the sun or marred with bruises or cuts. He was handsome, but his beauty was hidden by the shadows, purposely standing away from the many people. Many who had either noticed his beauty or had felt compelled to greet the son of this grand building had tried to strike a conversation but failed, he clearly wasn’t interested.
“Yami…”
The blond turned around, glancing up to the tall figure of his father. Yami sighed and turned back round, facing the people with pure boredom. “Dad. Thought you were going to be busy with Lord Klasser all night?”
Lucifer, Yami’s father, ignored the fact that his son sounded so monotone in voice. “I did as well, but that old man is far more interested in the girls tonight.” Lucifer chuckled warmly, patting Yami’s shoulder heavily. “I can’t help but think my son, seventeen years-old, should be out talking to those girls?”
Yami pondered, looking to a few people passing them. “They don’t interest me.” Even Yami admitted that the girls were beautiful, delicate little things which were only interested in the bedroom department and how their make up was on prying eyes.
Seventeen years down the line and he hadn’t even felt the caress of someone’s lips against his, at first it was frustrating, going through his teenage hormones, but now he was feeling a rotting loneliness building up heavily in his heart. Yami wasn’t desperate enough to pick up one of the ‘easy’ girls here, he was still waiting, believing he could wait out these kind of things.
“Ah! Aurora!” Lucifer’s loud call broke Yami from his trance, if his father said something before that he didn’t catch it. “Yami, will you kindly escort you out, won’t you son?”
Yami turned his head to look at the girl. She was petite with long curly black hair, which was currently pulled back in a dragonfly hair piece. Her green eyes were large, Yami suppressed a shudder at just how high her sugar intake was.
He could feel his fathers stare on him for awhile now, he couldn’t decline with him on his back. “Alright.”
“Good lad.” Lucifer bowed his head down to mark his leave, walking proud and mischievous.
Yami pushed his hands into his pockets, calmly walking forward and past Aurora without further word.
“Right then escort, get me out of here!” It might have been a humorous action, but Yami tensed at the arm linking with his. He decided to keep quiet for the short journey.
“So you’re the son of this house, eh?” Her tone of voice was bouncy, almost pleasant to listen to.
Yami merely shrugged. “That’s right.”
“Don’t you ever get lost in this place? It took me 20 minutes to find a bathroom!”
Yami twitched a smile at this. “It’s not so bad when you’ve lived here all your life.”
“Mmm hmm.” Aurora nodded in understanding, but not complete, she of course could only fantasize what life could be like in such house. “So do you like this party?”
Yami bit down on his lower lip to stop a remark escaping him. Anyone with sense could tell he was clearly bored out of his mind, but he was sympathetic to the young girl, seen as she was trying her best to start a strong conversation with him. However her impression of her slipped, cute but slightly dumb.
“Not really.” He mumbled.
“Well that’s just stupid!”
Yami just sighed with a smile added, just so Aurora wasn’t offended.
“You don’t talk much either.”
“You’ve only met me for barely on minute.” Yami turned his head to face her with a raised eyebrow.
“But I’ve watched you since the start of the party.”
“That’s just scary.”
“Everyone watches you, your famous amongst famous here.”
“Lucky me.” And a minute and a few seconds were all it took to reach the exit. Outside the air was crisp, the two were out of the comfort of the buildings warm atmosphere. Around them was an endless sea of darkness, after taking care of Aurora he’d turn some lights on for the leaving guests.
“Well then…”Yami paused to the grunt of a motorbike, no long before the vehicle skidded to a halt on the gravel, sending the pebbles crashing against the floor. Yami wasn’t going to be a tight ass about the vehicle being brought up, usually they’d stay down at the provided parking, but he was certainly annoyed at the few pebbles which hit him. He folded his arms and frowned at the biker.
“Now that’s what I call service!” Aurora grinned wildly.
The driver finished pushing his hair from his face, even though there was a helmet at the back of the biker which remained untouched. The bike was low seating and sleek black and dark red, tribal graphic designs imprinted on the bikers rear end.
At first what Yami noticed, only possible by the lighting from the huge doorway, was his eyes. One luscious rainforest green and the other calm slate blue. His features were finely defined, usually Yami would noticed the cons of someone’s features, but was unable to do so in this man. The biker leather hugged the outline of his nicely built body, his arms stretching over to hold the steering gave Yami a wonderful insight on the muscles underneath the leather.
Yami coughed once or twice, directing his gaze back on Aurora. Since when had he ever thought so lustfully? And since when had he ever though of a man in that way? Yami turned his head again, looking to the floor. He wasn’t gay, he just wasn’t.
“Oh thank you by the way.” Yami was brought to his senses by her words, simply smiling faintly in reply.
He could feel the phantom rider staring at him, calculating him simply by a look. As quick as he came, the quicker he sped off, with Aurora tightly wrapping her arms round his waists with the only helmet on. Tch, show off, not wearing his helmet and probably just wanting to impress.
Yami stood there for sometime in thought, under the glow of the lighting from the doorway. There was no point day-dreaming about the gorgeous biker-rider, Aurora was most probably dating him anyway and he wasn’t going to be interested in a rich kid, never mind a male.
The blond laughed at his stupidity and walked back in.

“Breakfast ready master Yami!” The call woke him up. Yami was sprawled between the sheets of silk on his four-poster bed. Mornings never treated the blond kindly, he woke up in a grumpy mood and one huge headache with it.
“Mmm.” He mumbled, twisting his body round and stumbling across his bedroom. He had a few paintings dotted around his walls, produced of the highest quality and often mistaken to have been done my some famous artist, but actually they were something he did to kill some time.
“Master!”
“I’m up.” He grumbled, violently pushing his messy fringe from his face. He opened the door, walking past the maid.
“Good then. Would you like tablets? The party last night was rather loud.”
“No, I’m fine.” Yami wished for his other maid- Furiae, someone who understood him to the tiniest detail, which included his desire to be given some peace at morning. “Where’s Furiae?” He moved slowly down the long set of stairs, wooden and rolled off into a delicate curl of a leaf at the ends. He could hear the maid behind him following.
“She’s being held back with the tidying after last night, I’m sure she’ll be with you at dinner, but until then I’ll-”
“Go away.” The comment slipped out his morning foul mouth, he found humour in the shocked expression on her face. “Until I’ve had some breakfast, I don’t want someone crowding me.” Furiae would’ve understood, but the maid still pestered him, throughout the course of his breakfast and even while getting changed.
“No, no! A checked shirt does not go well with those jeans.”
Yam ran a hand through his hair in irritation. In his book, any shirt went with any jeans. “Look I’ve had it up to here…”
“It’s alright Eliza, I’ll take over now.”
Both of them turned to look at the oak set of doors, seeing Furiae stood with a smirk wound on her lips. The maid- Eliza nodded to her, walking out without a further word.
Yami sighed, sorting out his sliver rimmed cufflinks which had been heavily criticized by his own maid. “You seem happy.” He pushed down the creases in his shirt, purposely been built up to Eliza’s satisfaction and not his.
Furiae laughed, walking over and sorting through the male’s hair, which had been pushed back with a comb. “She was going to gel your hair back?”
“Yes…I’m glad you find this amusing Furiae.” He grumbled to her laughter, but it soon stopped.
“Aww my poor baby.” Furiae cooed, mockingly taking Yami by the waist and rocking him to the sides like a mother with her newborn baby.
“Tch, don’t try that, I know you were enjoying my suffering.”
He pulled out of her grip, much to her disappointment, when somebody knocked at his door in a patient manner. Yami called and the servant entered his room, tired from the party last night. “Someone is here for you master Yami, would you like me to tell them your busy?”
Yami frowned, he didn’t have anyone planned to see him- he hardly ever did. “No I’ll go.” The man at the door nodded and went to finished whatever he’d been doing.
“Strange hm?” Furiae looked to Yami while clearing up a few items of clothing which Eliza had pulled out his closet.
“Indeed, stay here.” He walked out. Whoever it was calling for him, he wasn’t going to act too kindly, it was the morning, a time when many knew not to bother him. Yami frowned even more and walked down the stairs, looking at the doorway to catch a glimpse of whoever it was. His heart nearly stopped beating at the sight, even with a change of outfit he could easily tell who it was, the motorcyclist from last night.
“Hey.” The biker simply greeted, complete unknown to the panic and shock the blond was experiencing.
“Hello.” Yami would’ve congratulated himself with an own award for masking his emotions so well.
“Aurora from last night forgot her bag, so I’m here to collect.”
Yami pondered, who was Aurora again? Oh yes, the man’s girlfriend. Yami nodded slowly. “The maids must’ve picked it up.” He couldn’t help but grow uncharacteristically hot underneath the mans cool gaze, the only thing keeping him from blushing like a complete idiot was his avoidment to meet the others stare.
“Alright then, It’s Kael by the way.”
Kael. At least he could ditch the biker nickname now.
“Yami.”
“Odd name.”
“Well so is yours.” Yami was grateful for the break in the tension, he could breath a little more easier now.
“I’ll just call you rich kid.” Yami raised an eyebrow, not liking the little nickname which Kael thought off.
“Whatever, follow me.” He crossed his arms and turned, signalling for Kael to follow him. As they travelled down the wide corridor, Kael whistled at all the expensive furniture and artwork, displayed so magnificently. Yami glanced behind him to quickly sneak a look of Kael, he was surprisingly was appreciating the paintings, the small crush formed towards Kael strengthened.
“What’s this picture?”
Yami turned round, following the pointed finger and to the painting. It was 2 metres high and 3 metres wide, presented in a golden frame. The painting was dark, figures of humans talking on the rocks which were crashed at by the sea’s wrath. Above them there was angels, graceful naked women circling a golden break in the clouds.
“The cradle by Venus Ottakar.”
“I don’t see any cradle.” Kael frowned, looking genuinely confused, Yami smiled.
“They came up with odd names in those days.” Yami thought about how people still did come up with odd names these days, like his own name. “Ill show you this other painting which if my favourite.” Yami didn’t wait for Kael to answer, he guessed the Kael was thrill-seeking if he rode a bike, so he would most probably decline. He moved his head to look at Kael, for the first time their eyes locked.
“Eh, your collar…” Kael took a step closer, taking the collar and sorting it out. Yami looked up - Kael being a few inches taller - and admired the man being up so close. Kael moved his head down to see the blonds reaction to his collar sorting, only to have their noses brush dangerously close. They both pulled back, Yami laughed awkwardly like a typical shy teenager.
“Um…” Yami forgot for a moment what he was about to say, he was too caught up about thinking how close their lips were to touching. “Eliza damnit.” She was the culprit in his collar.
“Who?” Kael was rubbing the back of his neck absent-minded.
“Never mind.” Yami’s eyes were fixed low down, still a little fazed. “Now that picture…”
The two walked down the corridor, both with rushing and confused feelings running through their minds. Yami came to a stop to the painting he was looking for, Kael shortly stopped behind him.
The painting was much bigger than the last, so it was presented on a much bigger wall. The wooden frame was painting in a soft sliver, with elegant and graceful designs of flowers twisting around each other. The painting itself was focused on a woman, while the background around her was dark to create focus. She was dressed with white silk, the creases which were created by her pose held depth in the shadows, so much that it could be mistaken to be life like. At the bottom, where he silk clothing ended, the material flowed down and formed water, flowing down into a river. The smile upon her lips was what made the picture whole, she was an ethereal goddess.
“What do you think?” Gosh he was such a geek when it came to these things. Yami looked to Kael to see Kaels reaction.
“Beautiful.” Kael moved his eyes from the painting and to Yami’s eyes. Yami could feel his knees turn weak - it felt like the word was spoken about him, he wasn’t being big-headed, but it was the way Kael directly captured his gaze. It had only been a short time and the blond seemed like he was making up the years of romance and lust.
“Yeah…” It took all he had to turn his head away from Kael.
The two stood there for a moment to look at the painting.
“There you are!” Furiae walked into the room which the two was in, cautiously looking at the new one - Kael. “Oh? A guest?”
“You could say that.” Yami turned to Furiae.
“A maid?” Kael exclaimed almost humourlessly, mostly towards the appearance of her in a typical black and white maid outfit.
“That’s right!” Furiae was still testing to see if Kael was ‘good or bad’.
“You have everything rich kid.” He pulled an innocent face to Yami’s scowl.
“Come on, lets find you Aurora’s bag before I smack you.” Yami stalked off.
Kael simply laughed mockingly at the idea of the blond getting pissed off at him. “Now, now, calm down little one.”
“Oh come on ladies! Get moving.” Furiae nudged Kael in his hip, making him straighten up with a jolt. “That means you as well.”
The three of them began to walk to where originally they were suppose to have been going. Yami retrieved Aurora’s bag, passing it to Kael, then him and Furiae guided him the way back out.
“How old are you then?” Furiae asked, staying closely to Yami’s side.
“Nineteen.”
“So do you go to school or something?”
“Yeah, but at the moment I have time off, I’m looking for a part-time job.”
“We have an opening for a waiter you know.” Furiae had already began to like Kael, usually she wouldn’t have been so open. Yami began to grow a hidden excitement at this new revelation. He was already heart sunken at the thought of Kael leaving for good, but now there was an opportunity for them to be together for much longer, the blond craved to get to know Kael more.
“Oh…sounds…interesting.” Kael clearly didn’t like the idea of being a waiter.
“Great! Well it was nice meeting you Kael.”
Yami frowned realizing they had reached the main doors so quickly, but he was clinging to the hope of Kael applying for the job.
“Yeah, see you around rich kid.” Kael ruffled Yami’s hair, causing it to fluff up, it was calming to have the males hand through his hair but he was too annoyed at the nickname.
“Whatever.” He grumbled, Yami meant to say much more than ‘whatever’, in fact the idea of kidnapping Kael right now to stay with him wasn’t a bad idea at all.
Kael smiled at the grumpiness of the other, disappearing quickly out of sight.
Furiae smiled. “Nice guy.”
Yami stayed to where Kael was last seen, his lips twitched a smile. “Yes.”

“Master Yami! Wake up!”
Yami was already up, laying among his bed with only boxer shorts on, too hot to get changed into any pyjamas. He was staring into thin air in a dreamy state, thinking about a certain black-haired male he last saw a few weeks ago. The hope of Kael taking up the job had dimmed now, leaving Yami feeling even more lonely and yearning.
Yami barely recognised the voice of the maid from his clouded state of mind. “Eliza…” He groaned, rolling onto his front to stuff his face in his pillow. “Go away.”
Before he knew it Eliza was inside his room and yanking his leg in attempt to pull him off his bed.
“Get lost, I’m not in a good mood.” He threw a pillow at the maid.
Eliza caught the pillow and frowned. “You have dinner with Master Nox and its already 12, get up!” She pulled harder on his leg, successfully pulling him off his bed. Yami hit the floor with a thud.
“…Oh.” In all truth he had completely forgot about Nox, the long red haired teen which also like himself, came from a wealthy family, naturally they became close friends. “Now out while I get changed.”
“What?! Oh fine!” Eliza huffed and stomped out like a child with a tantrum. God he hated that woman.
10 minutes later and the blond emerged from his bedroom, fully clothed and suited for the dinner outside. Yami ignored Eliza’s endless complaints about his clothing and walked down to the gardens, with the maid trailing behind him.
He spotted the red hair of Nox clearly, under the shade of an old oak tree. From there they could see a fantastic view of the grassy plains leading off into Hawksworth woods. Yami joined Nox at the table, leaving Eliza to be forced to walk away.
“Sorry I’m late.” Yami flashed a smile, already moving his hands over to the tea cup and milk.
“That’s alright, it’s only been 15minutes.” Nox smiled, a small pocket watch hanging loosely from his handkerchief pocket of his pale brown overcoat.
“Did you take down my dinner already?” Yami took the cup he finished preparing, taking a small sip from it to test if it was alright for him.
“Yep, don’t worry I got your favourite.”
Yami relaxed in his chair after all the rushing to get ready, happy with the taste of his tea. “Thank you.”
Nox smiled nether less but was troubled by the unhappy look which loomed on Yami’s face, even with him so relaxed he could still tell. Nox was about to ask before one of the waiters brought out the good.
Yami turned to say his thanks to the man, but the familiar face made his words stay in his mouth.
“Kael?”
“The one and only.”
Nox blinked, looking between and forth Yami and the waiter. “You two know each other?”
“You could say that.” Kael finished placing down on his tray, perfectly balanced in one hand while bending over. His shirt hung down, giving Yami a good front-seat show of his strong collarbone and the sooth skin leading down to his chest.
Yami snapped his head down to stop himself staring. “You can sit down with us if you want.” Yami glanced to Nox, who was opposite him, he was smiling as always, he didn’t seem to mind the extra guest.
“Great, I’ve been on my feet all day.” Kael casually drew out a chair and sat down, bringing his hands behind his head in a relaxed manner.
“Oh. Kael this is Nox, Nox this is Kael.” Yami motioned his hands to them while introducing.
“I’ve seen you on the news before.” Kael looked to Nox, recognizing him.
Nox nodded. “Must’ve been that opening of the new museum I went to.” He took a fork and started to eat.
“Stupid things.” Unlike Nox, Yami didn’t begin to eat his dinner he seemed to be far too interested with the extra guest at the table.
“You never like publicity stunts do you?” Nox’s smile greatened.
“Ngh, no.” Yami shook his head.
“I haven’t seen you on tv before.” Kael decided to drink some tea, since it was the only drink at the table, he would’ve much preferred a beer or something.
“I don’t like being on camera.” Yami finally picked up his fork. He saw Kael twitch a smile at his words, making him annoyed.
“Camera shy.”
“No. I just don’t want to be harassed by cameramen.”
“Well I’d do the same thing like you.” Kael watched the blond eat his dinner.
Nox perked up, waving his fork. “You know, it isn’t that bad. I can go walk down the road unnoticed.”
“Yeah, wearing glasses and a fake moustache maybe.” Yami poked the food in his mouth, not noticing Kael was staring at him.
“No…” Nox pouted.
“Have you ever tried it?” Yami looked to Nox in question.
“Many times! I go to see my boyfriend.” Nox continued to smile at Yami’s confused face.
“You have a boyfriend?”
“That’s right.”
“Nothing wrong with that.” Kael began to loosen his black tie, still drinking his tea. Yami looked to Kael, another hope forming within him. It seemed Kael wasn’t some homophobic either, maybe even a slight chance in him liking the same sex. Yami wondered how Kael saw him, maybe as some stuck up rich kid or maybe as a handsome blond, he couldn’t tell.
“What’s his name?” Yami asked, even though he highly doubted the name would ring any bells.
“Ratio.”
“Ratio Marshal?”
Nox turned to Kael in surprise. “That’s right, do you know him?”
“Yeah, we’re close friends.” Kael looked as equally surprised. “You and him? That’s kinda odd, no offence.”
Nox grinned wildly. “None taken.”
Kael smirked. “Didn’t he get thrown into a police cell last night?”
Nox’s mouth dropped, humourlessly forming a perfect ‘o’. “He what?”
“At some party, I wouldn’t joined him if it wasn’t work for the next day.” Kael placed down the tea cup on the table, finishing it.
“He sounds quite a character.” Yami commented, not quite understanding how the quiet and mature Nox could date someone who sounded like a party animal.
“Right, wait till I get my hands on him.” Nox didn’t feel like eating anymore. He huffed and folded his arms, his fork clattered loudly onto his plate.
“I’ll give him a warning about you until then.” Kael couldn’t help but chuckle.
The three of them continued to talk casually for an hour, before Kael remembered he had a few tasks which needed to have been down 2 hours ago. Already he’d gotten lost a few times , so Yami offered to show him around. Nox said his goodbyes and returned back to his own house, with much on his mind about his boyfriend behind bars.
“Heres the bathroom, ensuite to a guest bedroom.”
“…that’s the sixth bathroom I’ve seen today, this is getting unbelievable.”
Yami smiled, walking out from the ocean blue bathroom and down the another door. The door was clearly old, a faded brown from the sun which drained the life from it, it looked aged but still nice.
“This room you’ll need a set of keys because there’s some expensive artwork in here.”
“Pass the keys then.” Kael cocked his head at the door, figuring it was the room he had to clean a few hours ago.
“Say please.”
“Please your royal highness who’s feet I shall kiss.” He bowed to the blond mockingly.
Yami stared at Kael for a few long seconds. “…your not getting them now.” Yami smirked, spinning the set of keys in one finger tauntingly.
“I’ll use force rich kid.” Kael raised his hands, pinching them like a crab and moving to Yami like a predator making its pounce on it’s prey.
Yami took a few steps back, spinning the set of keys much faster. “All talk, no action.” The blond stumbled back in surprise at Kael suddenly taking a large step out towards him. Yami turned around and started to run. He sped down the corridor grinning, his heart pounding at the gaining footsteps of Kael.
After twisting around numerous corridors, Yami thought he was safe, untill he turned a corner and fell straight into a set of arms.
“Gotcha.” Kaels arms were wrapped round Yami’s waist from behind, keeping him in place. One of his hands drifted to Yami’s hand to try and reach for the keys. Yami laughed and brought the keys away from Kael’s grasp.
For once in a very long time, the corridor of the mansion was filled with laughter.

“Swimming?”
“That’s right, swimming Yami.” Now brought down the swimming trunks from Yami’s face. The two were sat on the side of Yami’s bed which had been tidied from his awakening by a maid. Nox had unexpectedly came over to declare they were going down to the mansions swimming pool for the day. It was a perfect day to do so, the sun hung in a lazy fashion over the house among the clear blue sky, but Yami never liked swimming.
“I don’t like swimming though.” Yami itched his head.
“Oh come on, it’s a great day and I’ve invited Ratio and Kael already, Furiae is coming too.”
Yami stared wide-eyed at the idea of seeing Kael in swimming trunks. He could imagine right now, while talking to Nox, the image of the strongly built male glistening in droplets of water from the pool, pushing his dark locks away from his heated face, while gazing to the side with those darkened eyes. It was enough to pursued him.
Over the few weeks Yami and Kael had grown considerably close, to a point they became good friends. His crush on the male hadn’t faded, it had only strengthened, making it even more harder to tame his urge to take his face and close their lips together.
And this Ratio guy, Yami had never met before, but as long Nox and Kael approved of him, it was okay with him.
“Alright then.” Yami sighed in defeat, being thrown a pair of swimming trunks by Furiae who was standing by the doorway.
“That’s what we want to hear.” She smiled.
“Now hurry up and get changed.” Nox ushered Yami to his bathroom attached to his room while he quickly got changed in the room. Furiae left and gave the two their privacy while getting changed.
She unlike the other maids had bounded strongly with the two and was considered a friend rather than a maid. She didn’t mind being the only girl going to be there, she knew Ratio and Nox were together, the other two were a mystery.
After they finished getting changed the three walked down to the main swimming pool, there was another at the side of the building.
Yami leaped down to one of the sun beds first, grabbing a watermelon piece which had been provided by one of the waiters. Nox walked up to Ratio, who was already there standing with Kael. It looked like that Nox was going to hug him, but instead he slapped him hard on his left cheek.
Ratio winced at the slap he received, feeling the throbbing imprint on his cheek. “What was that for?”
“Getting yourself in a cell for 2 weeks!”
“It wasn’t my fault…”
“They guy was put into a coma for a week Ratio.”
“…well he shouldn’t have scratched my baby.” Ratio referred to the car who he devoted his life too, sometimes it made Nox insanely jealous. Ration soon smirked, while rubbing his sore cheek. “You slap like a girl, by the way.” Ratio slipped past his arms around Nox’s neck, despite Nox’s current fiery temper, and pulled him close against his chest.
Without a top on, his tattoo was clearly visible. Starting below his jaw and trailing down his neck, it ended on his upper chest. It was a tattoo of a Asian dragon, one of it’s wings was arched across the width of his neck while the other wing rested down on it’s body. Nox ran a hand across it, down his neck and stopped to rest his hand on Ratio’s chest.
“I missed you.” Nox’s voice had softened dramatically, raising his head to look up at him.
Ratio smiled. “I missed you too.” He nudged his head down, about to kiss the male before getting violently pushed into the pool.
Nox, who closed his eyes awaiting the kiss, reopened them to find his boyfriend crashing down into the pool. Kael stood where Ratio had been, a smirk plastered on his features.
Ratio resurfaced quickly, throwing his head back for his soaking wet hair to be tossed back. “Kael you bitch!”
“Watch out below!” Furiae jumped into the pool, barely missing the startled Ratio. Water was sprayed into his stinging eyes, making him groan.
Nox laughed, not long before Kael pushed him in as well. Nox yelped and joined Ratio and Furiae.
“And one still remains.” Kael grinned, looking at the final prey of his happily eating watermelon.
Yami opened his eyes to the shadow looming over him “Oh hello.” The blond looked up innocently, his blue eyes shinning brightly in the sun.
“You’re next.” Kael bent down and swooped the blond up easily, making him drop his precious watermelon on the floor. The fruit rolled down for a few moments before coming to a stop, dirty and spoiled.
“My watermelon!” It took Yami a few seconds to realize just what Kael was attempting to do. He put his hands on his broad shoulders and pushed in attempt to get out of his arms, any other time he certainly wouldn’t have minded the male with his strong arms wrapped round him. “Oi! Let me go right now!”
“Or what?” Kael grinned, both of their faces were extremely close. Yami forgot about breathing, screw breathing, when he could feel the heated breath of Kael brushing past his lips he didn’t need to breath. Yami looked dazedly to Kael, memorized on his lips, jealous of all the cigarettes which got the chance to touch his lips. He tried to think what to say, but not words seemed to come out.
“Hmm? Times up.”
Yami, rather than pushing the other away, slipped past his arms round Kael neck. He wrapped them tightly, causing his bare chest to push up against Kael’s own. He would’ve accidentally stifled a groan, if it wasn’t for Kael suddenly releasing him down into the pool. However what Kael planned didn’t exactly work for him, he was pulled down with the blond by his arms.
Ratio was too focused on drowning Furiae to watch the other two. He stuffed her head underwater for awhile now, then brought her head back up like some kind of water torture. “Sorry yet?”
“Never!” She was gasping in the air, a grin bound onto her features.
“Down you go.”
Nox looked at the scene sympathetically. “Poor Furiae, I feel like I ought to do something to stop this cruelty.”
Furiae resurfaced again, glaring at the Nox with water dripping down her face. “Then do something! Tame this boyfriend of-”
“Yada, you talk too much.” Ratio pushed her under again.
“Um, Ratio could you please release her?” Nox stared with a cute expression, purposely making himself that way, it was a special kill he could use on Ratio which came in handy a lot. “Please?” He sounded like he was close to tears.
Ratio smiled sadly and let Furiae go, moving towards Nox and cuddling the cute bundle like a teddy bear.
Yami broke the surface before Kael, giving him time to collect his breath. Kael later resurfaced, looking to Yami with a grin.
“You…idiot.” Yami was panting.
“We couldn’t have you lounging around there all day.”
Yami noticed the tattoo on his back of Kael for the first time, a large dragon with it’s wings outreached on his back, it’s thin body and tail followed down his spine. The water dripped along his body, almost taunting him, he would like to be that water, running down along his body. It was unfair how Kael had effect on him in this way, he gave up being in disbelief about being gay now, he couldn’t care less anymore, accepting his urges and yearning was indeed directed to a male.
Yami tilted his head up at the pat he received on his head, expecting him to ruffle his hair up any second.
“Don’t give me that look.”
“What look?”
“You look like a pouting puppy.” Yami twitched in annoyance, first a rich kid and now a pouting puppy.
“I think it’s time for your own nickname, how about servant?” Yami knew Kael didn’t like the feeling of working for someone, Yami learnt over the weeks that Kael was a free spirit, he didn’t like anyone telling him what to do, quite like himself.
Before Yami knew it, Kael fixed a strong grip on his neck and pushed him down into the water. Yami opened his mouth in surprise, only to get a mouthful of water.

“Well that’s been quite a day.” Ratio smirked, currently covering Nox with a fluffy white towel and drying him softly.
Yami sulked at the sight of his water melon now covered in insects and dirty.
“Cheer up.” Kael threw a towel on the blonds head. “You can always go get another.”
Yami sighed and took the towel off from his face. He looked up to Kael, his dark fringe hanging thickly over his eyes. “Oh I’ve just remembered that you work for me. You can go get me more watermelon.”
“Weekends don’t count.”
“Oh yes they do, go fetch servant.” Yami suppressed a smirk.
“…only this damn once.” Kael scowled, walking past the blond, only to be tripped up and falling straight back into the pool.
Yami recalled back his foot, looking to Kael calmly. “Payback.”
Ratio burst out laughing at it. “My payback coming up Ratio style.” He let the towel drop on Nox’s shoulders, running up to the pool and jumping in, landing on Kael who just reappeared up from the water.
They all laughed, accept from the one being drowned by Ratio.
“Boys.” Furiae sighed and shook her head.

Yami ran his fingers through Nox’s long strands, glancing up into the mirror in front of them. “Dinner with Ratio? Are you sure that’s safe?” He took the ribbon tie and wrapped it softly around a bundle of Nox’s hair.
“We’re going to a beautiful place down at the seafront. I want you and Kael to come.”
Yami finished with Nox’s hair, seating himself on the end of Nox’s large bed. “But it’s just a dinner between you two.”
“No, Ratio wouldn’t mind.”
“I don’t know…” Yami rubbed his hair. He liked the idea of dinner, especially if he got to see Kael, he just didn’t want to intrude Nox’s and Ratio’s dinner plans.
“Please?” Nox looked up to Yami hopefully.
“Hmm… what time?”
Nox smiled in success. “7.00”
“I best go home and get changed then.”
“Okay. See you later.” Nox received a mumbled goodbye and the sound of his door being shut closed.
Yami signalled for his private limo to pick him up. The seventeen year-old hadn’t finished his driving test yet, not that he really needed it with all the private limos he had anyway.
Yami got into the sleek black limo when it arrived, sitting near to a window. The windows were tinted, looking out while others couldn’t look it, Yami enjoyed it. He rested his head in the palm of his hand, his eyes were glazed over while day-dreaming about the event ahead, thinking like a love stuck school girl about Kael.
The car journey came to an end. The blond slipped away from the leather seating and returned back to his house, greeted by Furiae.
“I’m going out at 7.” He streached out his arms, walking up the stairway.
Furiae followed. “Oh your mum has returned by the way.”
Yami turned his head to look at Furiae. His mother had been on a business trip for over a month now, even though Yami was too stubborn to admit it, he missed her a lot. “Really?”
“Yami!” Arms were tightly wrapped around him, squeezing him close in a tight embrace.
“Ngh, welcome back.” Yami could only lightly pat his mother on her back, unable to move properly while in her tight grip.
“I’ve missed you so much! Come look at these things I got you!”
Yami smiled, after he was finally let go, he followed his mother up the stairs.
“Your late you know!” Nox waved a finger in front of his face. “Again!”
Yami rubbed his head, red in the face because of his rushing. “I know, I know.”
“Come on then.”
Yami paused, looking at the car they were getting in and who was exactly driving. Ratio sat in the drivers seat of the Chevrolet Impala, the jet black American muscle car revved impatiently, awaiting for the two to join.
“I’m going to die.” Yami sighed, opening the door to the car, it creaked in a old vintage fashion.
“Ratio isn’t a bad driver Yami.” Nox smiled reassuringly.
“I wouldn’t dream of crashing her.” Ratio rubbed the leather steering wheel possessively.
Nox rolled his eyes. “Just drive.”
The two doors slammed shut and the cat was put into gear and action.
The windows were wound down, so the breeze was soft on Yami’s features. The necklaces which hung on his neck moving gently along to the breeze, the wooden beads rattling against each other. He wore a short-sleeved shirt for the first time in awhile, the ends frayed giving the shirt a purposely untidy appearance. His jeans were dark brown leather, assorted with two metal plated belts. It was odd dressing so casually, odd in a pleasant way.
Nox had his hair still tied back, the ribbon like Yami’s necklaces were dancing along to the wind. He wore a short sleeved t-shirt as well, but it was while, imprinted with a design of an angel wing on his right. He wore a simple pair of light faded denim jeans.
Ratio’s attire was some what similar to his personality. His ebony hair was spiked up at the back, defying gravity so it seemed, while his fringe was left to fall over his face. He had piece rings on a left ear, one sliver spike, which looked painful to wear, and then two simple studs. Ratio wore a black sleeve-less shirt, which Nox thought, gave a nice view of Ratios arms.
Yami looked at the front of him when the car came to a stop, which he was thankful for because his ears were starting to bleed from the heavy rock music Ratio flicked on in the middle of the car journey.
“Here we are.” Nox leant his back on the car door and stretched his back out.
“Where’s Kael?”Yami looked among the vehicles parked in the car park and spotted Kael’s bike. He inclined his head to the side, too see a extremely bored looking Kael.
“Your late.” Kael raised his head. Much like Ratio’s attire he wore a black shirt, but his sleeves were long and pulled up. The top buttons were left undone, revealing the junction of his collarbone and neck. Around his neck was a barb wire type necklace and on his left wrist was a single squared wristband. For the first time he put in his lip piece ring, Yami knew they didn’t let him wear it at work.
“Yeah well Yami was late again.” Ratio finished locking his car, putting the keys in his pocket.
“Typical.” Kael shook his head.
Yami folded his arms, frowning heavily. “Shut up.”
Nox laughed and motioned everyone towards the place were they were eating at.
“Eating out at fancy places aren’t really my thing.” Kael looked uncertain he was going to enjoy tonight.
“Me either! Lets get this sorted and hit the bars.” Ratio and Kael both grinned simultaneously.
“No, you two are staying with us.” Nox waved a finger at either two.
Ratio whinned loudly, sneaking over to his lowers side and tugging his long hair. “Baby…”
“No. Especially not after getting yourself locked in that cell…”
Ratio sighed sadly, before a dirty idea popped into his mind. He smirked thinly and placed his two hands down onto Nox’s shoulders and bent down near the males ear. He let his lips move over his ear, purposely stopping at a certain sensitive point.
“You’ll have to keep me occupied for the rest of the night then?” He smirked in satisfaction,  when feeling his lover shiver pleasantly back into him.
Yami took a seat once they choose whereto sit down. They were over-looking the beautiful view of the seashore, slowly starting to build up in it’s tide at the approaching strong gravity pull of the moon.
Dinner started quickly and ten minutes in they were already tucking into their meals. Yami paused taking a bite out of his chicken, feeling someone brush past his leg for the third time. It wasn’t by accidentally, he could tell someone clearly wanted his attention. He looked up and watched everyone, seeing that Kael was the only one who had a smirk on his lips, while talking to Ratio about something.
Frowning, Yami nudged him back with the tip of his foot, turning his head to the side to talk to Nox.
“How’s your meal?”
“Oh it’s fine thank you, yours?”
“Its alright, could’ve cut this fancy salad dressing though.”
A nudged received back on his ankle.
“I’ve got some of that on mine.”
“Like it?”
Yami nudged him back.
“Not bad, little too spicy though.”
“It’s got this stupid-” Yami nearly choked on his own words at the foot dragging up and down his leg. He went slightly red in the cheeks at the suggestive action. “-Um, stupid basil herbs.”
Oh so was that what Kael was playing at? Yami kept expressionless while stretching his leg, hooking his foot behind Kael’s leg and moving it up along him as well. He dragged it purposely for awhile, glancing to Kael for the shortest moment.
Yami watched him choke on his smoke from his cigarette which Ratio sparked him.
Nox looked over. “You alright Kael?”
Kael looked over, seeing Yami’s innocent smile.
“Yeah.” Kael ignored Yami’s cheek smile for now, bringing the cigarette up to his lips in thought, cooking up a plan.
Dinner past and the desert rolled on. Yami received no more nudges or suggestive moves at all. Just when he thought their little game had ended, Kael knocked a fork off the table, so he bent down under the table to get it.
Yami watched him curiously while eating a piece of his watermelon. He nearly jumped up from his chair, he felt a hand drift up his leather covered thigh, lingering there for him to flick his thumb across.
Nox tilted his head at the blond’s sudden heated cheeks. “Yami you look flushed.”
Kael came up, smiling proudly while Yami burnt red in defeat.

The meal ended and Kael and Ratio disappeared off into the toilets while Yami and Nox awaited at Ratio’s cat. Ratio and Kael reappeared, their talk immediately stopped when they approached the two.
Ratio looped an arm round Nox, pulling him close. “Come with me to watch the sea.”
Nox tilted his head. “The sea? Since when-”
“Just come.” Ratio pulled Nox, turning his head round to wink at Kael. The two walked down the empty pier, the sea crashing softly among the rocks.
Kael smirked, walking over to his bike with Yami. “Looks like you’re riding back with me.”
Yami glanced to Kael suspiciously, sensing something was amiss. “No way am I going on a bike.”
“Scared wittle puppy?” Kael pulled a sympathetic look.
“Pass me the damn helmet.” Yami took the helmet from Kael, calmly strapping the helmet on while Kael moved over his motorbike, gripping the steering in fascination. Yami finished sorting out the helmet and joined Kael, looking for somewhere to put his hands.
“Put your hands on my hips.” He couldn’t see Kael’s expression, but he guessed he was grinning.
“Alright…” Cautiously he placed his hands faintly on Kael’s hips at first, but when the bike sped in motion, he was tightly wrapping his arms around his waist, clinging as if he was holding onto his own lifeline.
Necklaces were flying, their clothes were pushed pleasantly back. Yami dared admit he enjoyed it once he got past the fear, here on the back of Kael’s bike with his arms around him and his chest against the strong back of Kaels. He sighed pleasantly, unconsciously letting his head rest on Kael’s shoulder.
Yami didn’t take notice on where they were going, Kael took a quick turn onto an empty road, soon stopping at the end of it. Kael silently propped up his bike and got off, walking to the banister, giving him a spectacular view of the sea front.
Yami frowned in confusion, taking his helmet off and walked over to Kael. “Kael I don’t live here.”
“Of course you bloody don’t.”
Yami cocked an eyebrow. “Then what are we doing here?”
Kael turned his head to Yami, taking a step closer to rid the space between them. Yami was still confused, looking up to Kael questioningly.
“This is what.”
He cupped Yami’s cheek with his leather biker gloves, his fingers softly grazed over his smooth cheek, before inking them round his jaw to tilt the blond’s face up. Kael leant down, fastening his lips firmly on Yami’s, leaving him in complete surprised.
He pulled back, wanting to see Yami’s reaction.
Yami stared to the other, letting the revelation sink it. “But…Aurora?”
“Hm? My sister?” Yami could’ve violently smacked his head into a wall about how dumb he had been.
“Oh…Fuck it.” Yami pushed past his hand to loop around Kael’s neck, dragging him back down. He let all the with held urges he’d kept back go into his kiss, making it strong, hungry and pouring the urges into it.
Kael didn’t expect the blond to be drag him back down into another kiss, but he equally returned back the strength. He parted Yami’s lips with his own, pushing Yami back until he hit the wall of an unknown building. Kael sucked along the blonds bottom lip, tasting the watermelon which lingered on his lips. To Kael’s pleasure, Yami moaned, feeling powerless yet again to the body pressed up against his. He was left breathless to Kael’s teasing, sucking, nibbling and tugging between soft pants.
The beautiful scenery around them was unseen, only in their eyes they saw each other.
